Welcome to Full Pull Wines, where our list is currently OPEN.
We offer the best boutique wines of the Pacific Northwest to members of our e-mailing list. Our model is simple:
1. We e-mail you compelling offers (please visit our Offer Archive for examples).
We will send out, on average, 3-5 offers each week. If you’re a stickler for a clean inbox, we recommend setting up a filter to automatically place our e-mails in a separate folder.
If you prefer to consolidate your daily reading using an aggregator like Google Reader, you will be able to add our RSS feed to your aggregator. Our Twitter feed will also contain as much offer information as we can squeeze into 140 characters. (Note: neither our RSS feed nor our Twitter feed will contain price information)
If you love drinking wine but don’t like reading about it, we’re happy to put together a custom wine club for you or fulfill larger orders for events, parties, or cellar creation.
A custom wine club allows us to introduce you to our favorite Washington wines. To get started, tell us how many bottles you want from us monthly and how much money you want to give us in return. We can take it from there. Or you can be pickier, and tell us:
- Red/white split
- Specific varietals, regions, or wineries that you like/don’t like
- Breadth of price range (what sounds better: four $25-bottles per month or three $20s and a $40?)
Because of our focus on Washington wines, we can procure many wines from this state for larger-scale, special orders. If you have a specific wine in mind, we will try to find it. If you don’t have a specific wine in mind but have a general idea of what you want (e.g. 3 cases of outrageously good Washington Syrah for $20/bottle), we can help with that as well. Contact us to start a custom wine club or a special order.
2. You tell us how many bottles you want to order.
Placing an order is simple: just reply to our e-mail with the number of bottles requested, and we will do our best to fulfill that request.
Other ways to order through Full Pull include creating a custom wine club or inquiring about larger orders for events, parties, or cellar creation.
3. Your wine arrives at our warehouse and is ready for pickup or shipping.
Because we spend a lot of time outside the warehouse (traipsing around the state and identifying the next great under-the-radar winery is hard work!), we require that customers make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance of their visit.
The best way to pick up Full Pull orders is to become a Thursday Pickup (TPU) member. TPU members receive our best pricing and the opportunity to sample intriguing bottles when they pick up. In exchange, they agree to pick up their wines during the following times:
- Thursdays, 10 AM-7 PM
- Second Saturday of each month, 9 AM-2 PM
Finally, there’s no hurry to pick up your wine. Once we have it in our space, we charge your credit card, and the wine is yours. We’re happy to store it in our dark, cool warehouse for as long as you like, free of charge.
Shipping wine is complicated. Because alcohol is regulated at the state level, there are 51 (we didn’t forget about you, District of Columbia!) different sets of laws to follow. Because those laws are changing rapidly, we will not attempt to continually keep this page updated with states to which we can and cannot ship. The best course of action is to go ahead and order wine. If you’re in a no-go state, we might be able to suggest alternative ways for you to receive your wine. Here are some rules we generally follow when it comes to shipping:
- We never make a profit on shipping.
- We wait until you have accumulated a full case of 12 bottles before we ship (note: we will ship partial cases per customer request, but this will increase the shipping cost per bottle).
- We only ship when we’re confident that your wine will stay within an acceptable temperature range.
- We ship on Mondays to minimize the chance that your wine will sit in a shipping warehouse over the weekend.
- By placing an order for wine, the Buyer warrants that he/she is at least 21 years of age, and that he/she will be responsible for the shipment of this wine being received by a person at least 21 years of age. All goods are supplied in Seattle, Washington, and must be paid for in full prior to delivery. Thus, all goods are sold in Washington and title passes to the Buyer in Washington. All shipping costs, including insurance, are to be paid by the Buyer. Washington sales tax is payable on all taxable goods delivered in Washington. Full Pull Wines makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of Washington. By placing an order, you authorize Full Pull Wines to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. The Buyer is reminded that various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction without requiring the purchaser, the seller or the shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Full Pull Wines, as a condition of sale, assumes no obligation and bears no responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any such permits or licenses. Therefore, the Buyer is strongly advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought into states other than Washington. The Buyer is responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due their state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.
